The City of Greenacres is applying for funding through the Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (MPO) Transportation Alternatives (TA) Grant Program, a federal reimbursement program administered in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

City of Greenacres Roaring 20's Daddy Daughter Dance at the Community Center on February 7, 2026 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Each year the City of Greenacres hosts the Daddy Daughter Dance Event for fathers and all father figures. It is an enchanted and memorable evening for daughters ages 4 and up. It includes dinner, dessert, dancing, photos, fun & games and more! Join us on February 7, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a fun Disco theme night at our Greenacres Community Center!

Kick off the year with the first of three Sunday Sounds events! Join us on February 22, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park for an evening of live music, dancing, and delicious food from local food trucks. This family-friendly event celebrates culture, community, and everything that makes Greenacres special, so bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, and your appetite for a fun-filled night.

City of Greenacres 2026 Educational Scholarship Program

The City of Greenacres is pleased to announce the 2026 Educational Scholarship Program, which will award eleven $1,500 scholarships. These include one in memory of former City employee Denise Padgett, to be awarded to an applicant for athletic success; one in memory of former Councilman Norman W. Rose for community service; and one for academic pursuits in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) field.
